Before working in the personal injury field, Marlon Lawes earned his Bachelor’s degree in History from York College at the City University of New York, and his Juris Doctor degree from Touro Law Center. Since beginning with Field Law Group in 2013, he has helped the firm substantially grow. The firm began with one paralegal and has since grown to employ many paralegals, multiple attorneys, several of-counsel attorneys, and several overseas support staff.
His work with the firm involves connecting with insurance adjusters and attorneys to settle cases. He also works with plaintiffs’ attorneys to resolve various issues. He is involved with marketing the company to the public. He has also aided in the settlement of tens of Millions of Dollars in personal injury settlements. As part of his professional development and growth, he regularly attends events related to personal injury law.
Mr. Lawes is also a prolific investor in public and private equities. He is also a landlord providing affordable housing to renters with low incomes. His personal interests include reading, writing, engaging in law research, art history, history, politics and traveling. Mr. Lawes lives on the North Shore of Long Island, New York.
